A behind-the-scenes documentary about Terry Gilliam’s attempt to bring Don Quixote to the big screen and the absurd of amount of catastrophic obstacles that arise along the way.
Not only is it a fascinating glimpse into everything that goes into making a movie (which is a lot), but it’s a crazy document of what happens when Murphy’s Law strikes a film set. It’s part schadenfreude, part heartbreak, and largely entertaining once things start hitting the fan. Probably helps if you’re into this kind of stuff, but it’s good stuff all the same.
It’s got a 94% on Rotten Tomatoes.
