A documentary about an aging bodybuilder-turned-hair metal rocker who never quite made it to the big time, so he tries to reclaim his former glory through a comeback tour that lasts for over a decade.
This thing is a piece of work, folks. Highly endearing, really funny, and it’s got Spinal Tap plastered all over it. Doesn’t matter if you’ve heard of the guy or give a damn about hair metal, and while it probably won’t make you want to pick up every Thor CD at Tower Records, there is a whole lot here to like.
It’s got a cool 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
