A documentary about one Claressa Shields: a 17-year-old from Flint, MI as she trains to become the greatest female boxer alive and earn gold at the 2012 London Olympics.
I could go all day about this one, folks. So damn inspiring, so well made, and if you’re not worshiping at the altar of Claressa Shields by the end of it, there’s just no way we can be friends. Seriously, what a badass. Just a documentarian’s dream and one of the best sports movies I’ve seen in a good long while. Holy crap, did I love this thing. 100% guarantee that you will, too. Speaking of which…
It’s got a cool 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
