When his father dies and he loses the family ranch, a young cowboy leaves the mountains and makes a go of it with the flatlanders. Before long, he starts proving his worth, breaking in horses, and stealing the heart of a young sheila. Unfortunately for him, her old man’s the richest guy in town and he ain’t too happy about their little situation.
It’s about as family-friendly as a Western can get, but by no means is that a detriment. Gorgeous scenery, some amazing scenes on horseback, and a lovely little story to boot. Not a bad place to start getting down with Australian Westerns.
It’s got an 80% on Rotten Tomatoes.
