When he’s fired from his job and finds an eviction notice on his door, a mild-mannered family man heads to the bar to drown his sorrows and runs into a childhood friend who just got out of jail. That’s when they meet a guy who’s got money to burn and wife to entertain. That’s when this rich guy starts daring these two dudes to do increasingly crazy crap for money that they desperately need. That’s when things start escalating quickly and old grievances start rising to the surface.
[Unrated, but it’s totally an R]
Holy crap, is this thing wild. Probably too wild for some, especially as the ante gets upped way beyond the point of normal human decency. Still, it’s really good, an absolute blast, and both the acting and writing are far better than I was expecting. It’s kind of a dare in its own right just to recommend this thing, but it’s one hell of a ride for those willing to take it.
It’s got an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.
