A documentary about an organic farmer from Vermont as he struggles to battle his inner demons and maintain a livelihood that he no longer enjoys.
Might not sound like a must-see, but it really, really is. Not only do I love documentaries like these that shine the spotlight on otherwise ordinary folks who have incredible stories to tell, but this one truly stands out as one of the realest and heaviest I’ve seen maybe ever. Also happens to be really well-made, which is always a lovely bonus. Fair warning for everyone who doesn’t work on a farm, though: working with animals can be gnarly stuff. Woof.
Its got a cool 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
