It’s the year 2050. Five ruthless drivers set out on a cross-country race where hit-and-runs make for higher scores. As outside forces try to sabotage the competition, a legend of the track paves the way towards victory.
If you’ve seen and loved the original, you’re gonna eat this right up. Super campy with a warped sense of humor that’s fully aware of how ridiculous it is. It’s probably not everyone’s thing, but it’s a rare breed, a lot of fun if you’re not expecting something like Fury Road, and somehow manages to work as a social commentary. Way better than that hot mess with Jason Statham.
It’s got a cool 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.
