A white-collar guy begrudgingly returns to his blue-collar home town to deal with his late grandmother’s estate. He winds up losing his wallet on the trip out and, with no one else to turn to, bites the bullet and hits up his eccentric friend from high school who never left the block. So begins their bizarre reunion.
Once that old friend from high school enters the picture, I nearly fell of the treadmill from laughing so hard at this thing. It’s got an insanely uncomfortable, super awkward sense of humor and, while the first half hour had me busting a gut, it very much takes a turn for the dramatic once old skeletons start busting out of closets. Loved this one, everything about it, and I can’t recommend it enough. More low-budget gems like this, please.
It’s got a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.
