In the wake of a tragic car crash, a woman reunites with a group of old friends for a big weekend filled with cave diving. Things start off well enough, but then they keep going deeper in the name of friendship and exploration. Then go and stumble upon some unknown horrors and things go south quick. Good times!
Maybe it’s not the most original premise for a horror movie, but, holy hell, is this one of the most effective and terrifying horror movies to come out in recent memory. If you’re at all claustrophobic, get ready for your worst nightmare. If you’re not claustrophobic, get ready to be. Such a big fan of this one, can’t recommend it enough. Brace thyself.
It’s got an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes.
