The story of a couple when they first fell in love…and years down the line when the thrill is gone.
Yup. Cheery stuff. Ya’ boy Gosling’s in it, and Michelle Williams is great, so it’s definitely got those two going for it, even if it is quite a downer half the time. That being said, it’s refreshingly raw and it runs the emotional gamut thanks to all the puppy love and happy times you get to sit through. Maybe not the biggest endorsement of marriage cut to film, but it’s a keeper nonetheless. Bonus points for the dope soundtrack.
It’s got an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes.
