When one of the top assassins for one for one of the top crime syndicates goes rogue in order to save a girl’s life, said crime syndicate pulls out all the stops and sends in absolutely everyone they’ve got to make an example of him and the girl he was sent to kill.

First off, this thing is violent. It’s actually one of the most violent movies I’ve ever seen, so much so that it borders on realm of horror at times. So much blood, so much gore, and a body count that would make Conan the Barbarian’s life work feel pretty inconsequential by comparison. But if that all sounds well and good, it also happens to be a ridiculously good and wildly entertaining action movie that is effing overflowing with fight scenes that will knock you on your ass. If you liked The Raid, you are guaranteed to like this. If your main complaint with action movies is that there just isn’t enough action in them, holy crap, you are guaranteed to like this.
