A documentary about the Rolling Stones, told by the Rolling Stones, chronicling the highs and lows of their illustrious career from young lads with questionable haircuts to full-blown rock icons.
[Unrated]
Considering it’s about one of the biggest bands in the history of rock, and considering I’m awfully familiar with them (as I’m sure a lot of you folks are), it’s pretty wild how much of this footage and their story comes as news. Certainly more appealing if you’re already a fan, but it’s a great rockumentary regardless that takes a unique, effective approach to sitting down with the Stones. What a great band, though.
It’s got an 88% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Or how about another BIOPIC, one about someone you’re probably less familiar with?
Or maybe another DOCUMENTARY, one without all this rock-and-roll nonsense?
Or perhaps another MUSIC movie, one with some tunes you don’t already know by heart?
