A documentary about a royally crooked cop named Mike Dowd and his crooked cop friends who went from stealing thousands to running a full-blown crime ring for the city’s biggest drug lords while stationed at the most infamous precinct in Brooklyn in the ’80s and ’90s. [Rated R]
Just a totally insane story that you might have a hard time believing if the crooked cops in question weren’t the ones giving the interviews. Not surprisingly, it’ll suck you in quick. Tony Montana would be proud.
