A headbanging artist who’s struggling to pay the bills manages to move his wife and daughter into their dream home. Little do they know, said dream home is also the former abode of a terribly disturbed fellow who killed his parents because the devil told him to. Next thing you know, our starving artist starts hearing voices and things take a turn for the worse.

It’s a slow burn, but it is very good stuff. It’s also especially well made for a haunted house movie, surprisingly well-written, eerie AF, and it’s nice to see Ethan Embry getting some quality work these days. Think The Amityville Horror, only with way more heavy metal. Quite badass.
