A decade after having escaped from a suicide cult, two brothers receive a cryptic video from one of its former members who’s still very much alive and kicking. Barely scraping by and with no prospects on the horizon, said brothers decide to head back to their old stomping grounds one last time to unravel the mysteries they left behind.

Even if I said more than that and started spoiling the movie for you outright, I’d probably just to a garbage job of explaining everything that’s so wild, weird, and fun about it. One of the more inspired sci-fi movies I’ve come across in some time, not to mention how enjoyable the cast and script are. Bonus points for touting a surprisingly solid sense of humor. The trailer up there really makes it seem like the strangest goddamn movie on Netflix, but it really isn’t and trust me when I say that it’s a really easy sell. More movies from these guys, please.
