When a servant in the Middle Ages gets caught knocking boots with his master’s wife, he runs for his life and ends up having to pose a deaf mute in a nearby convent where the sisters swear like crazy and are ludicrously suspicious of everyone and everything. Hilarity ensues.

Most movies set in convents and monasteries are usually a tough sell for me, but movies with swearing nuns sure aren’t. If that seems funny to you, it probably will be as this movie manages to get a lot of mileage out of the gimmick. Not sure how a movie like this came about, but, damn, if it didn’t have me laughing.
It’s got a 78% on Rotten Tomatoes.
